Creamy Shells with Ground Beef

Ingredients:
3 cups pasta shells, uncooked
1 lb ground beef
1/2 yellow onion, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
3 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup flour
2 cups beef broth
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta shells according to package directions. Drain water and set aside.
Add the ground beef, yellow onion, and red bell pepper to a large pan. Bring to over medium heat. Cook and stir until the ground beef is fully browned. Pour into a colander to drain. Return to the pan. Place back on the stovetop with medium heat.
Add the garlic, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Stir together well.
Add the butter and stir until melted.
Whisk in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
Slowly stir in the beef broth. Stir in the sour cream and cheddar cheese until combined.
Add the cooked pasta shells and stir until well coated.
